Join Our Build Team!
Thank you for your time and interest in applying for Spleef League’s official build team. We are looking for individuals who meet our quality standard, share interest in building new and creative areas on our map, and are able to be trusted to keep information on new areas and plans undisclosed unless otherwise directed. There are a few stages to the building application process which serve to prove an individual's ability to build and to ensure they are a good fit for the team. Builders will be expected to:
- Provide a minimum specified amount of time per week to contributing towards building new maps and overworld regions
- Contribute to ongoing projects or submit requests to initiate smaller projects that are deemed as productive to the building process
- Agree to work within the team and keep sensitive information regarding future plans and unreleased builds within the team
The first stage will consist of a google-survey link that will ask a number of questions about yourself and your schedule, as well as some example pictures of your work. Please make sure all information submitted is accurate or up-to-date with your current skill-set. If we feel that your application falls short of our qualifications, you will be declined and allowed to resubmit another application after a two month period.
If you are successful in passing the first stage, the second stage will consist of a trial-build testing your ability to fit with detail-oriented, quality work the build team strives to provide. You will be provided with a whitelist on our building server and a 250x250 plot where you will be asked to create a thematically strong and detailed island which emphasizes your skillset. More information will be provided to those who make it to this stage.
The third stage will consist of a short discord-based interview with some follow-up questions and final checks if you are accepted past the second stage. Communication is an important aspect to participating within a team and it is problematic if a member is difficult to either work with or communicate with.
If all three stages of the application process are passed by an individual, they will be welcomed onto the build team as an official member and recognized as an official Spleef League team member with building permission, access to certain confidential documents and a corresponding server/discord/forums rank.
